Waverley are not new to the world of industrial vending machines as they have a few within their customers, however when they saw the awesome storage capacity of the Safe Stock D1080 machine they had to get one.
The machine is dispensing mainly carbide inserts along with other cutting tools so was made to maximum capacity, (see drum layout below) Which allows them to store single inserts per compartment and has the flexibility to store packs of 10 inserts and dispense singerly if required. This could give you a capacity of over 10,000 inserts in one machine…!!
Addition… This machine went live this morning and by 09:30am it already had 20 transactions, so its been an instant hit with the end users.
